"There has been 2 albums in the past by the Bee Gees that were respectively their better recordings without producing one hit. 1st of which is "Life In A Tin Can" and this Masterpiece "Mr. Natural". Released back around 1974 this gem really test the wide range of talent that only the Bee Gees could produce. With "Charade" being their soft rock type song to the rockin' "Down The Road" Which appeared on their "Bee Gees Live" CD. Mr. Natural is a welcome part of any diehard fan of the Bee Gees collection."

""Mr. Natural" follows in the tradition of previous Bee Gees albums since "Two Years On"; nice but variable in quality. Unfortunately on this album there is a revisit of the bland MOR/country styled pop of the dreadful "Cucumber Castle" period, along with a few hints at what was to come with the next LP and the disco era. The title track is definitely the best of the lot here. It is excellent. "Heavy Breathing" and "Had A Lot of Love Last Night" are two more noteworthy tracks, but this album overall is something of a snorer compared to their art-rock masterpieces of the late '60s."
