Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies are one of the most popular bands, blues or otherwise, in the Pacific Northwest. Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies strength lies in its original blues songs and choice of obscure blues covers that meld together into a Texas meets Chicago meets Pacific Northwest blues stew. The WBS has honored the band with 39 'BB' Award nominations since 2005. Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies has won 13 of those awards, including 'Best Blues Band' in 2006 and 2007 and 'Best Blues Recording' of 2008 for their 2nd CD release, Big City Blues. Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies has been nominated twice for 'Muddy' Awards by Oregon's Cascade Blues Association in the 'Best Regional Band' category in 2007 and 2008, winning the award in 2008. Viewers of Seattle's King 5 TV (NBC) voted the band 'The Best Band in Western Washington' in 2008, out of 279 nominated bands of all musical styles! They placed 2nd in 2009 out of over 400 bands for that same award. The Inland Empire Blues Society named Big City Blues as the 'Best Blues Recording' of 2007.

This CD is loaded with great songs, a power house singer in Becki Sue and a rock steady rhythm section, powered by Jeff Hayes on drums and Les White on stand up bass. Jeff's drumming make you want to get up out of your seat for a shake your booty good time! And are you looking for the next great female blues singer? Look no further, you've just found Beck Sue. Her powerful voice makes her a contemporary of Janiva Magness and her ability to go from a blues heart break ballad (check out I'd Walk a Mile) to Mr. Lies (My favorite!) to Hill Billy Blues Ball (for all of you two beat fans out there!). Another favorite is Neighbor Tend to Your Business. It's the perfect mix of great vocals and a total band contribution to a song that you will be singing around the house for days to come. Tom Boyle on guitar is tasteful, easy to listen to and really know how to build a song. (Check out T-Boy's Ride) You'll love this band!"

"WARNING: Listening to Big Rockin' Boogie while driving may result in speeding tickets! These guys are GREAT! Becki Sue reminds me of Angela Strehli and Susan Tedeschi (sorry if I got the spelling wrong). The Harpoon player, Jim King, is among the best I've ever heard and Tom Boyle lays down some mighty fine licks on guitar."
