Not as pretty as the later stuff, but still lots of fun

"If you only know Beborn Beton from Truth and Fake, you may be a little bit surprised by this. It's nowhere near as pretty, or as poppy; they even have generic-industrial distorted vocals. Listening to Tybalt you can easily believe their "we're not synthpop" protestations. The music is still well-written and catchy. The lyrics are much cheesier than on later albums (in some cases this is clearly a language-barrier issue--"I feel some strange when I think America"--but in others it sounds like an amateur effort), but you can still hear the familiar mix of poetic angst and silly humor in many places. I wouldn't recommend this to new fans, but if you like Concrete Ground or Nightfall, you'll probably like this as well."
