"If you like chicago blues piano you should check out this guy, He plays an incredible boogie blues style with great recordings too!
Also features Kim Wilson playing a fat harp full of tone. Don't miss out on this living legend."
Got my eyes on you, thanks god is very fine, my review from

"Absolutely sensational. It's been a very long time since I heard a record by a relatively recent performer containing so good, so pure and so well performed BLUES and WOOGIE-BLUES. Some of the themes are well known, classics, but all of them except the one that closes the record, are magnificient, reaching a very high quality level.
Nonetheless I personally find four themes -"Mother Earth", "School days", "Just to be with you" and "Big town playboy" - most impressive. (by the way, don't lose any chance you may have of listening to the wonderful original performance of "Just to be with you" by the great Muddy Waters in the album 'Unk in funk').Besides Barrelhouse, in this record you'll find the great harmonic Kim Wilson, drummer Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and bassist Calvin "FUZZ" Jones among others, a first class team.
Those who like the essential Chicago Blues should buy it. They sure will enjoy it. I give it 5 stars.
