"We've had the movie for a while, and I often dismissed it because I really can't stand the creepy animals in it, especially the elephant. Those eyes are just wrong.



But recently I was reading while the kids were watching - without the visual disexperience, I noticed how lovely the soundtrack was. I was enchanted by the singing voice of Barbie, Melissa Lyons.



So we bought the soundtrack, and listen often in the car. The messages are simple and sound, not complex, and kids respond well to it.



I may never quite accept the animation of the Barbie movies, but the recordings, this, and Princess and the Pauper, have become part of the soundtrack of our household."

"My daughter is 2.5 years old and loves this CD. We checked it out at the library and she has specifically requested it for Christmas several weeks later. We don't even have the Barbie, have just read the book. The songs are catchy, even my husband was singing them!"

A great Barbie CD for kids and collectors

"This is another Barbie movie soundtrack CD with which your kids will drive you nuts playing repeatedly. The standout track on this CD, "I Need to Know," is almost Disney-classic quality and will speak to your heart in a way that few songs do. Even the pop version is beautiful. "Always More" is another touching song that's not only fun for singing along, but has a lovely message. While it doesn't quite have the oomph of Barbie Sings!: The Princess Movie Song Collection (or the number of tracks), the overall CD is very good and will be appreciated by both kids and adults."
