"Something to Live For: Live at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola is a new CD by beloved piano jazz player and vocalist Barbara Carroll, whose storied career began in a 1951 Manhattan nightclub. Jay Leon on bass and Alvin Atkinson on drums, and special guest star Ken Peplowski on tenor saxophone and clarinet lend their talents to this elegant, sweeping, and rapturous collection. Highly recommended, especially for jazz enthusiasts. The tracks are "All I Need Is The Girl" (6:05), "Lonely Town" (7:45), "I Wanna Be Yours" (3:43), "How Could You Do A Thing Like That To Me?" (7:06), "Single Petal Of A Rose" (1:50), "In A Sentimental Mood" (2:40), "Mood Indigo" (3:37), "Things Ain't What They Used To Be" (5:15), "How About You?" (4:13), "Something To Live For" (2:08), "Lotus Blossom" (5:25), and "A Night In Tunisia" (5:48).
