Synopsis

Album Description

Popular Scottish music, with a Ceilidh band featured on some tracks that gives the songs a thoroughly modern sound. Includes "Hector the Hero," a popular anthem featuring traditional fiddle. The Scots Guards are stationed in the vicinity of Buckingham Palace, where they perform guard duties for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. In addition to ceremonial duties such as investitures, they also perform at the annual Trooping of the Colour (the queen?s birthday parade) in London.
