Great jams!

"I generally find it refreshing to hear other interpretations of Jimi's work, and that's what you get here. The different guitarists (Andy Aledort, Rick "Hendrix", James Nixon, Gary Serkin, Kenny Olson, Eric Gales, and Sheldon Reynolds) that appear with Miles and Cox do the songs great justice. Billy Cox is right on with the bass as is Buddy Miles with the drums. This is one very solid album, unlike some compilations of various musicians doing Hendrix. Don't take my opinion. Buy it and try it out for yourself. You have seen the other opinion that it was a "sad" piece of work. I wouldn't take that opinion. By the way, you can buy a signed copy of this (signed by Billy Cox) on Jimi's website and for no extra signature fee."

"If Jimi was alive he would have sounded like this! My hat is off to the late Buddy Miles and Billy Cox of the original Band of Gypsys. This recording is cranking!!!"
