BALLS was formed in 2007, at first as an offshoot of BALTIMOORE, but the band felt more like a new and fresh unit with no history and only a future and so it is! Their debut Chameleon is a no-nonsense hard rock affair, built around a twin barrelled guitar attack, a distinctive vocalist and a young cocky rhythm section. (CHAMELEON) is a general riot of dynamic rhythms in the finest traditions of Aerosmith, AC/DC and classic Whitesnake, itchy solos, and one of the world s most distinctive voices, sounding like Rod Sterwart's younger brother, Lodin delivers lyrical subjects ranging from serious issues of current world affairs in Inspiration , to raucous innuendo in Howl For Me via general short stories of the likes of the title track, Jealousy and The Change . CHAMELEON is the start of new beginning based on the vast experience and musical pedigree of some of Sweden s most important and respected rock musicians. This is Swedish heavy rock at its best! BAND BACKGROUND Björn Lodin, has a vast and exciting history starting in the 80s with the band SIX FEET UNDER and later a long career with BALTIMOORE. Micke (Nord) Andersson, has recorded and toured with numerous high profile bands/artists such as ROXETTE, JAMIE WALTERS, BJÖRN SKIFS etc, produced bands like THE RASMUS and written songs with the SCORPIONS, not forgetting his own tribute to the blues based seventies in the band NORD. Janne Stark, has a list of credits including bands like OVERDRIVE, LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, ZELLO, MOUNTAIN OF POWER etc. When auditioning drummers and bass players their choice fell on Robban Bäck, and Björn Lundqvist, two young, hungry and musically outstanding guys!
