Quirky, interesting band

"I've heard two albums by the Balancing Act. This one, and "3 Cards and a Roof". Though I like "3 Cards" a bit better, this is a fine album from an overlooked band. I'd describe them as an alternative/folk band. Lyrically very quirky, strangely comical, tight harmonies and deft accoustic/light electric guitar playing. I'd compare them favorably to early R.E.M."
