"Finally music worth listening to! Radio D.J.'s should stop playing the same old crap (payola-hyped music) and give young, new talented groups a chance. We should all demand better and different music so as not to be stereotyped as salsa or merengue or tejano only. There are great groups out there like Los Bacilos playing real latin music and struggling to get an opportunity. Keep up the good music!"

"This album is what -real- music is about: intelligent, well-written songs, extremely talented musicians, an incredible mix of sounds and bits, and a very pure, acustic production. I hadn't heard anything like this in a long time. I'm...amazed!"

"This is an amazing CD, definetily one of the best I have bought in a long while!!!! It has been in my car stereo from the day I bought it and it has never left it. The songs are beautiful, I love "Lo mismo que yo" and "cronica"... I can't stop dancing... Finally a great Latin group with some cultural roots is showing the world what new Latin music is all about!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I am hoping that this group is the same Bacilos that made itself known at the Marlin in South Beach, FL. I am also hoping that this album is similar to their self-made album entitled "Madera" - which remains one of my all-time favorite CDs. "Tobacco y Channel" is just a great song with great lyrics. The violin is the best.Having met the group on several occassions, I can also say that these guys are genuinely nice people who put on a great show. Strongly recommend."
