Well Worth It

"It's not the classic BTO line up. This is the reunion edition of Randy Bachman, Tim Bachman, C.F. Turner, and Gary Peterson. Peterson is a powerhouse drummer all through the disc. Also the sound and feel of the disc is pure rock and roll. Meaning they play the songs with conviction and spirit. And they play some rousing renditions as well. No resting on their laurals here. It's BTO doing what they do best. The basic no frills production on this disc is an overdue blessing. What needs to be here, is here; and what doesn't need to be here, isn't here. This preserves the excitement of the live setting.
Recommended for both the casual fan and the true BTO maniacs."

"I have been a Bachman Turner Overdrive fan for the last 26 years. Even without the original band members this still is a good CD to have."
Not bad

"Interesting album made in the 80's. BTO tackles "American Woman" and "Mississippi Queen", both tailor made for Fred Turner's powerhouse vocals. The inclusion of the much underrated "Blue Collar" and the super-twangy Guess Who classic "Shakin' All Over show the guitar stylings of Randy Bachman to full effect. BTO favourites like "Takin' Care of Business", "Not Fragile" and "Let It Ride" provide the straight-ahead rock fix for the fans. Nice work, done several years after their hit making days had passed."
