"I'm about to buy my 6th or 7th copy of this CD. I tried to write to Mr. Jarrett about it. I've been a Goldberg junkie since hearing Turek perform it in 1967. I wore out my record of Glenn Gould's landmark performance. Another reviewer gives this performance one star and finds it too new-age. Maybe he means it it too sensual. I very much like the sensual Couperin-like quality of Jarrett's performance as a contrast to Gould's crisp precision. Some points of phrasing that are merely impeccable in Gould's performance are riveting in Jarrett's."

"Magnificent, splendid, soul-stirring. Keith should switch to harpsichord exclusively. One listen and you will agree. Bach as meant to be heard."
