Different from the Vinyl

"This CD has 16 tracks rather than the 11 of the original vinyl record. 3 of the original tracks do not appear, being "Love You Till I Die", "Feel Me", and "Don't Play Me A Symphonie". Unfortunately, the first and last of these were the best two tracks of the album (my opinion). Without these, it loses that something that made the album worth chasing."
Such fun !

"Pure unadultrated disco for the soul ! Baccara unfortunately never made it big as the others in the scene, but their heavily accented, campy lyrics and upbeat disco makes u wanna smile and go back to the disco days !check out their 'yes, sir i can boogie', 'parlez vous francias, 'granada' amongst others and rejoice"
Fun disco music

"Music can be serious, but it doesn't have to be serious all the time. Baccara, with their European accents, their sexy voices and their lightweight songs, made disco music that was never meant to be taken seriously. Their music was pure fun, and never meant to be anything else. If anybody doubted that, listen to their cover of Yummy yummy yummy. It was a silly song when first recorded by the Ohio Express in the sixties and sounds every bit as silly by Baccara, but it suits them.Baccara topped the British charts in the late seventies with Yes sir I can boogie. The follow-up, Sorry I'm a lady, provided them with a top ten hit. These are the best tracks here, though The devil sent you to Laredo, Parles-vous Francais and their covers of La bamba and Can't help falling in love are also wonderful.Baccara did not make music that could be called essential, but they had a style all their own that provides a refreshing change from more serious music."
