"As an aspiring songwriter, I am always awed by those as gifted and talented as Babbie Mason. Not only does she sing beautifully, but she writes the best Christian music in the market today. This album is a must for any serious music lover, whether Christian or not. The songs are solid, the lyrics exceptional. Just listen to "Long Way Home" and you'll feel like a fellow traveler, or the catchy "Nobody Knows Me Like You". For the traditional gospel lover there is "Stop By the Church", sung as a duet with her mother, hear that Hammond organ kicking up in the back. "Love is The More Excellent Way", based on I Corinthians 13, comes straight from the Word and makes that powerful text portable in our everyday situations. There is not one song on this album that is a throwaway. In my opinion, she's just peaking, but if it never gets any better than this, this is her 'Songs in the Key of Life' album and we are all blessed by it."
