"What's just as popular as Pokémon, but not as cute? Ayumi Hamasaki! Her newest single, holding 4 songs, is brilliant. "Monochrome" is currently the #1 song in Japan right now. The other three songs, "Too Late", "End Roll", and "Trauma", are still just as good. If you haven't heard J-Pop yet, this is a good CD to begin with."

"OK, guys, let's face it: 99% of all J-pop is pure cheese. I myself can't stand most of the stuff, even though I am a j-pop fan of sorts. Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the few artsits that stand out from the crowd - her songs are not pure j-pop, but rather a surprisingly pleasant combination of Western and Japanese popular music. This CD contains four of her best efforts - and let me tell you, they are pretty good.The electronic guitars and synthesizer beats hold up to the best of Western popular music, and Ayumi's strong voice is a breath of fresh air among a multitude of childish-sounding female j-pop vocalists. Then again, if you are not partciularly fond of the genre, you might not find the tracks enjoyable - but if there's one j-pop artist that you'll like, chances are it will be Ayumi Hamasaki."

"This single is by far the BEST deal you can get on the J-pop scene today. For the price of a normal single, you get about 78 minutes of music! And the music's not bad, either. Monochrome is my favorite Ayu song, and I'm a pretty devoted Ayu listener. The remixes are also some of the best you'll hear. They bring out what the original version couldn't. This ranks as one of the best deals I ever struck, and I recommend it 100%."
