"Axel Rudi Pell worl is a real pleasure to listen. Unlikely other German metal bands, Pell's frame of work is more based in hard rock / pop metal, and so we don't have the infamous double kick drums all over the record.
As for BEHIND THE WALLS, it's certainly one of his best works.
The songs are killers, catchy and well crafted. Also, we must not forget that Pell has amongst his ranks the amazing singer Jeff Scott Soto."

"First of all, don't get me wrong, Axel Rudi Pell['s band] is a great band and they put out a lot of good stuff, but this album is a step down from "Eternal Prisoner", simply because there's not as many catchy songs on it. Eternal Prisoner was great all the way through practically, but the second half of this album kind of falls apart. It's ashame because the first half was brilliant. Especially with the first four songs, not counting the "Intro". The last half was just "meh".



So this is why I'm just giving it 3 stars."
