"This album was Aviv's debut - and what a debut!
The songs are short, strong and rock hard - in fact Aviv and his band The Tauyot have never captured the energy that was displayed here. There is a strong Pink Floyd influence throughout the album and the production is very good. The lyrics were already very provocative, political and also a tad immature (Aviv was 17). The themes of the songs are: loneliness, suicide, anti-army and tragic love - a formula that worked well here, despite stagnating several years and albums later. Although he was an album away from total infamy, this nonetheless established Aviv as a major force in the israeli new pop-rock scene and every parents and politicians worst nightmare. You must have this CD to fully understand Aviv Geffen's musical journey and the impact on his fans and detractors."
