"I bought "Horas" led by the single "Horas" which I heard on a Rock en espanol radio program in NYC one late night. The only thing I regret is not having bough a few morec opies to share with a few good friends. This is a rare rock/pop CD from a 4 piece female band of original material. Aurora Cano, leader of this group brings a fresh sound, totally unlike the inane stupidity that spews forth from the likes of Thalia, Paulina Rubio, Fey, madonna, the discredited Gloria Trevi, and the incredibly boring and racist Ana Torroja. This Cd was released in the US under the Polygram latino US label. Their followup album "La Inmovilidad" (2001) was released under the Opcion Sonica label in Mexico, but apparently it is out of print and out of existence (practically speaking). While I could buy this CD for the $50- here or on ebay, although it is an inflate price due to its rarity, knowing what the CD sounds like (Horas) - I'd gladly pay the price if I didn;t have it. As for "La Inmovilidad", I have no clue of what it sounds like, but if it was listred for $50- I'd pay it only becuase the first CD is so good, I trust the name of Aurora Y La Academia and anything they put out. Maybe the solution is to take a trip to mexico City for 1 week and armed with a map, the yellow pages, and a backpack, I'd hunt oiwn that CD and many others I'd consider indispensable at used CD stores in Mexico City. Unfortunately, even though Telefonos De Mexico is as large as AT&T or larger, their online yellow pages are pitiful, and mexican used cd stored donp;t have internet pages. This CD is highly recommended. It is the type of music many US female "artists" and group would only WISH they could come up with. Clean, fresh, pleasant sound, never wimpy, never "mexicano" sounding (caifanes, jaguares, fobia, los amantes de lola, etc...). i can't say enough good things about this album. I hope you'll find it someday. You'll be glad you bought it."

"Hace bastante tiempo que no escuchaba un grupo tan bueno como Aurora y la Academia, todas sus letras son excelentes, la voz de su cantante realmente hipnotiza, además realmenye son artistas, no solamente caras bonitas (aunque realmente son MUY bonitas), lo unico malo es que al parecer su disco no ha salido de México pues aqui en Colombia es imposible conseguirlo pero si tienen la oportunidad de hacerlo comprenlo no se arrepentiran."
