This release is devoted entirely to the music of Aurelio Canonici. Widely known as a conductor, Canonici has conducted the Sofia Philharmonic, Budapest Concert Orchestra, Warsaw Polish Radio Symphony, and many more prestigious ensembles. In addition to composing and conducting, Canonici serves as chair of Orchestral Practice at the Conservatory Alfredo Casella of LAquila. Paola Biondi and Debora Brunialti are the most active piano duo in Italy. The Mascoulisse Quartet is an electric trombone ensemble, and Maurizio Ben Omar is one of the best percussionists on the scene. These prestigious musicians beautifully perform the works of Aurelio Canonici.
