Product DescriptionFormer Zimbabwean cricketer takes a turn as an urban singer along the lines of Lighthouse Family.
Former Zimbabwean international cricketer, Henry Olonga, is an emerging tenor who has long participated in arts festivals and productions. He has appeared in the Harare Festival of the Arts in an hour long recital, has sung at Traquir Fair in Scotland and has released a chart topping single in Zimbabwe called, Our Zimbabwe. Had it not been for the opportunity to have an international cricket career spanning eight years, Henry Olonga would have possibly attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic art in 1995 to pursue a career in the performing arts.
With a foundation that lies in being afforded leading roles in productions such as the Gondoliers, Annie go get your gun, Joseph and his Technicolor dream-coat, Olonga has recently completed recording a full contemporary pop album with one of the UKs top producers,Robbie Bronnimann.
