Decent music, great lyrics!

"This album,'Grim', is their second and weakest album. The music is decent enough, but what stands out is the lyrics. I have all of their albums, and the words to these songs are quite penetrating. One song, "Stupid", is reason enough to buy this. A depressing countryish ballad whose lyrics strike an all too familiar chord in a misfit like me."
Great debut album

"On the Ass Ponys scale of Rock, this one ranks in last... but that's fine by me as this is one great band. There is not one bad song on any of their albums so this is a must have to complete the collection."
A good CD of early Ass Ponys material

"While "Electric Rock Music" and "The Known Universe" are much more accomplished CDs from this band, "Grim" has some strong tunes and lets you hear how they sounded in their earlier days."
