"it sceems that some of you are hatters and dont really feel that this album is as good as it really is. yess they picked up a new singer and he is a jammaican reggae singer but he adds a tremendious flava to this sound pool and lost a member but still strive. asian combines elements from their past such as faster beats and furious vocals/lyrics and present with songs like round up, warring dhol, tommorow begins today and melody7 adding more slowed downbeats and dub reggae flava on this. The lyrics are at an all time extreme due to the war in iraq and are verry much present here, in all songs especially oil not at all trying to mask or confuse the meaning. they worked verry hard to make the vocals more clear and understandable and they have susceeded verry well for how fast they are. the album isnt as dub flavored are their last outing probably due to not having adrian sherwood's dub tastic production. the beats are much faster but not kaotic and much more variety and less repotition than older workz. but round up is an all out dub explosion that will bring you back for more instantelly, and tommorow begins today is their most actual roots dub reggae song. so thats why im confussed why this isnt appriciated by more of their staple fans and almost abandoned all their uk fans where they live. i am more of a dub electronic fan and not so much into even vocals or fast paced music but the combination on this album is amazing, not as good as enemy of the enemy but extremelly close. they also installed an incredible thing on the disc called opendisc which when placed in your computer will alow you to submit email adress and acess you to a page on the internet where you can watch the video for flyover which is awesome and interviews, live clips, all the bonus songs from the canadian bonus edition of enemy of enemy which is amzing remix, and all the songs on the album tank instrumetal versions

and to address the coment on the first reviewer's quote this album is like buying a dub syndicate album and getting a heavy metal album, wow. that is the stupidest thing i ever heard what were you expecting when you saw the name asian dub foundation and their previous work. this is no roots dub but i figured that was pretty clear. but these guys do use the fundamental elements of dub which is drum and bass and dubbling up and to dub onto trackz. Another staple is using processors and shape shifting rythm and beat and electronic sounds such as synth and programmin. all are featured here. hense asian dub"
