Excellent Collection of Ragas

"There is very little appreciation for the raga or for Indian music in general here in the West. If you listen to this CD, you'll understand why that's a shame. These ragas are compelling and meditative at the same time. If you want to test-drive this disc, visit the Ragmala site (I'd put the link here, but Amazon'll just remove it). You can hear a sampling of the material. Trust me, if you're a fan of the Indian classical form, you will enjoy this CD."
