An endearing young talent has only grown better.

"I loved Aselin's (or Azi's) music from the moment I heard it, an original blend of Cape Breton Celtic-folk, sung by a beautiful 12 year old star with a voice to melt your very heart. What impressed me the most was that she was also credited as a writer on the disc. Her new single "Life", from the forthcoming new album "Bigger Than Me", (slated for release on Feb. 15, 2005), happily shows a maturing artist and writer. Her lyrics are immediately honest, revealing a new side of the now 14 year old girl who is coming of age with school, stardom, popularity, and well, life. The attitude and arrangement of the song are a departure to be sure; slightly edgy, pop-infected, and bouncy - but I like it! (Hey, it's Azi.) Yet the melody, most notably in the final hook of the chorus, manages to echo back to her traditional Celtic roots. I hesitate to admit how excited I am to hear the rest of the record. Azi, I surrender, I am a fan of yours. Stay true to yourself, your roots, and your music - We will follow."
Great song but wait for the CD!

""Life" is a fantastic, honest song. It's catchy and everyone can relate to it. It openly tells of Asi's struggles to find herself and experince life. However, it's just one song! Don't buy the single! Go out and find the whole CD, for heaven's sakes, because that is even better!"
