"This is a good album. I picked this up after a friend of mine said to check them out, so I did. I have no previous albums of AFR to compare it too, so I loved it. From the beginning to the ending I was jammimg away and really appreciated the deversity in the songs. I mean they can be hard and melodic and they can be just hard. I would give this one a try if you are into the band Thursday."

"After hearing most of As Friends Rust's earlier material, I decided to go out and buy Won. Don't get me wrong I thought the early stuff was great, and this release is definately a lot different (I can see how long-time AFR fans might not love it), but this record hasnt left my turntable for a long time. The moment the needle hit the groove I was hooked. From the amazing first track 'We On Some Next Level...**** its apparrent that AFR's songwriting has really matured, and this record has everything I need. The hard fast songs are still there, but what really sets it apart is the slower, more melodic tracks such as 'Perfect Stranglers' 'Laughing out Loud' and the beautiful 'Ten'. And Damien has the type of voice that covers both styles perfectly.
This album was produced by James Paul Wisner (238, Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever, Vacant Andy's) and he really has worked magic with it. And put all this with great artwork and presentation and you're left with my favourite release since Strike Anywhere's 'Change Is A Sound'.
As Friends Rust fans will be devastated to learn that Damien (vocals) has recently left the band. This is the worst new since I found out that I missed the AFR/Strike Anywhere tour last year!"
