"The highlight for me at this years IAJE meeting in California ,was having the opportunity to meet Cezary Lerski of the Polish Jazz Network and pick up a copy of this astounding 2 disc compilation of the brightest and most exciting collection of Polish jazz musicians, most of which I was unfamiliar with. These musicians display the same fire and intensity that I remember in the late 40s, early 50s, when I was fortunate enough to have seen Charlie Parker perform live, several times in NYC. These cds are full of all sorts of jazz, from bebop to the more exploratory genres that are popular in Eastern and Western Europe right now. Highly recomended for all jazz fans. Something for everyone, and all done brilliantly ! I hope Mr. Lerski produces follow-ups every year !"

"The music was consistently excellent, but I would have enjoyed it more if some of Poland's jazz vocalists were featured.
thank you,
Patty Gorski-Diaz"

"I've been a working "semi-professional" musician in the Bay Area for longer than I care to remember, and I don't know how this stuff escaped my radar. France, Italy, Norway etc., you know there is music happening in those places, but Poland ?. Yeah, Poland. This cd is great and I want to see these musicians perform here on the west coast. This music needs exposure."
