More wonderful Shaw

"I really have nothing deprecatory to say about the selections. All are enjoyable and will please Shaw enthusiasts, I would say. The only thing which detracts from my giving the set five stars is that the recording seems somewhat compromised. I don't know the first thing about recording methods, but I noticed that the bass and treble don't sound correctly balanced in spots. I have to adjust the voume much more than I have to do on other recordings. I wasn't familiar with the label either but as I'm building my Shaw library, I just wanted to get as much of his music as I can find - always afraid that it one day may not be available ( perish the thought!!) Still, the recording quality notwithstanding, I listen to this CD often ( sounds better on my computer than at home) and am glad I bought it."
