"when i first found out that mxpx had a side project i just had to get their EP. and i'm glad i did! it sounds kinda like the mellow songs on the evr passing moment, but a lot mellower. arthur was made because mike had a lot of songs that were totally different than most mxpx songs.enough about that though. the whole ep is just amazing! every song is a winner! this deserves a billion stars. my favorites are "all my life" and the birthday song. but they are all very good! i can't wait for their full-length( which is in the works)...mellow on!"

"Mike Herrera is a genius musically. This band sounds nothing like MxPx, which shows that Mike is a very talented songwriter who wants to get out of the punk scene and write some more emotional and mellow tunes. I really enjoy the songs that make you want to sing along, such as "Thought A Lot" and "Self Evaluation". I recommend this album to anyone who enjoys MxPx or even likes bands such as Pedro The Lion or The Promise Ring. Enjoy...it's a good album!"

"Arthur is a side-band consisting of all three members of MxPx along with Neil the guitarist who tours with them. They have a collection of songs that Mike Herrera did not think belonged in MxPx. This is a very solid EP. It is very very mellow and emotional, so if that is not your thing then you wont like this at all. If you're a big fan of The Ever Passing Moment cd by MxPx, then you will probably love this album. Thought Alot is an amazing song and is what got me into this band. Self Evaluation and Friday, April 6th are also stand-out tracks.I am not sure if they will ever release another cd. I really really hope they do. They have already written enough Arthur songs to make another full-length cd, they're just trying to find time to record it. You can listen to a song titled "Cold Outside" on their website. I think it is their best song, to be honest."
A new side of MxPx

"Arthur definately does not follow the same lines as MxPx, but Mike Herrera was able to both write and sing new songs that influence others. I bought this cd since it was an MxPx side project, and I had no idea what I was missing. While MxPx leans toward the punk rock style, Arthur is more of just mellow slow songs that anyone can get into. The messages are great and I think anyone can relate. It's a great cd!"
