CD ReviewsA rare find courageous cat | NYC | 03/16/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "Lipner can REALLY play amazing vibes, and the compositions are great. The production is slick but in a good way, all the instruments sound great (harmonica is way cool) and the mixes are even. They call it "smooth Jazz" but it's not. I can't listen to smooth jazz because it's all mush and it doesn't sound live. You can tell this had to be studio live. If you want to hear instrumental jazz in a modern accessible way that has plenty of energy go ahead and give this a shot. This is guys playing real and putting some 'motion into it. Spyro Gyra's drummer and this guy Kiko from Brazil are burnin'. If you aren't familiar with vibes and marimba you won't be disappointed, at least you'll no doubt like Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" and the other cover tune..."
