"I've been an Army Of Lovers fan from the start, and have collected all their releases including the remixes. Les Greatest Hits is an ultimate collection showing how even through the changes of its members Army Of Lovers knows how to entertain. A friend in Sweden told me that what many people don't realize is that Army Of Lovers did all the music and vocal talent themselves, and they are quite brilliant musicians. This is no processed band at all. Lush, evocative, and epic songs that transcend dance music. I was particularly impressed with "Everytime You Lie." NOTE: For true collectors, there is yet ANOTHER version of Les Greatest Hits in which "Stand Up For Myself" is deleted and in its place is the song "King Midas." I found a remix single of that and saw the video and just knew that Army Of Lovers was too genius to get the proper recognition they deserve...now if I could only have a DVD of all their videos I think my life would be complete! Also be on the lookout for their rendition of Abba's "Hasta Manana" on the Swedish compilation "Abba: The Tribute" and the recent Abba anniversary tribute."
Fab fun

"Les Greatest Hits is just 18 tracks of fabulous, fluffy, clever pop. They've just released their first new single in 5 years, a cover of Let The Sunshine In, and it seems like they've never been away: totally out of sync with present trends, but timeless."
A FABULOUS COLLECTION OF HITS

"One of life's true pleasures comes in this "Les Greatest Hits" album. Starting at warp speed with "Give My Life" you're wisked to "Venus and Mars" in the blink of an eye. "Ride the Bullet" is great, and of course "Crucified" can be relied upon to keep the tempo racing. "Everytime You Lie" and "Israelism" are unique, and following form, "Sexual Revolution" breaks down all barriers. "I Am" is pure fun. The whole album soars to the stars, and you can with it. No Army of Lovers fan should be without this CD in their collection."

Good music is good music. Army of Lovers are like nothing else one can find. They are at once classic, bold, and irreverent! Army of Lovers is eternally kewl! This collection of their greatest hits is essential."

"In Spain I saw a video of 'Crucified' and thought WOW! how come I haven't heard of them before?I bought this and realised how many 'acts' from Spice Girls to Eminem have taken from this Band while they have received such little recognition. This album is FANTASTIC! There is not one duff track. They were way ahead of their time - rap mixed with HNRG and RnB -just listen to 'My Army of Lovers' which can wipe Blondie's 'Rapture' off the turntable. 'Venus and Mars' - a dance track which MelC with 'Turn to You' clearly ripped off. 'Israelism' is like nothing you've heard before. They are virtually indescribable - complex, erotic lyrics and rythmns, they remind me of Louise Brooks set to Disco! Forget Kylie, Steps, Abba, Madonna (who has taken from them in image and music)and even Eminem and Moby, and every dance track since 1990 - the basis for all of them are here. This is sooo SEXY. Music to make you feel beautiful and go out and have the night of your life!"
