"Armando Manzanero is the consumate modern Mexican composer. This is his best work from 30 years ago and it still seems fresh and timely. His lyrics are exceptional, and his melodys are timeless. I just wish he could keep producing this quality, although it has been a generation since his last hit. This is the Mexican version of music to make love by, in the best tradition of Johnnie Mathias. To understand the emotion of the lyrics, the best part of his music, one must understand Spanish, but the melodies have been translated into English songs (i.e. Its Impossible) and stand alone as some of the best produced. I highly recommend this collection."
