CD ReviewsBram Stoker's Dracula aside, drevil4934 | 04/21/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "Arlington Road comes second as the scariest soundtrack I've heard. Although nearly the entire CD is based around a low, monotonous bass that never seems to shut up (reminicent of RIVEN), the recording dishes out several horrifically unpresedented explosions of music that usually forbode an equally exciting chase piece. I can't specify which track it does this in since they all sound the same and never have a very short interval of quiet when the next track begins, but I will say that if the composer were to trim a lot of the pointless themes and parts where there is almost no music (save the ever present bass) he would have a fairly decent soundtrack with merit. Instead it's an occasional thrill here, but not much above watching someone sweep the floor." As Chilling as the Film Dana Shaw | 07/19/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "This music from Angelo Badalamenti is truely incredible. The mood swings and ambiance are about as strong as anything he has done."
