Underappreciated artist of 98/99

"I heard one of his songs on a sampler cd. I don't speak spanish very well, but I found the song very moving. I purchased this cd on the basis of that song. I have done this before with other cds, and have made mistakes--but not here. This cd has many different styles. Which makes it real easy to listen to. His voice is quite raspy, but also moving, and impactful. "Con Ella" has to be one of the most romantic sounding songs I have ever heard. I have played this cd for several Spanish speaking friends. They all have the same reaction. Who is it, and let me see the cover. If this guy goes unnoticed, I will never know why. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who is into "pop" music. There are some fast numbers, including one with a reggae feel, but overall, this cd has a smooth & soothing affect"
