"I met Ari Vaughan while patronizing a West Virginia store and saw her CD. I said to my cousin, "Who in the heck is Ari Vaughan?" Ari was sitting not more than 20 feet away. She was very gracious and, of course, I had to buy it. She even signed it for me. I wasn't expecting much when I played it--generally I don't listen to contemporary religious music. But I am a bluegrass lover, and when the familiar mandolin, banjo plunkings started with her vibrant voice, I had to listen. What a surprise! If you like bluegrass, buy this album. It's what Allison Krauss would do if she made a gospel album (though Ari's vocals, I think, are better)."
