The band was formed under the crescent moon in 2004. Arges is the name of an ancient river in Rumania at the region of the Carpathians. The original band was formed by Saerus(guitar),Lord Gabriel(voice and key boards),Kusg(bass),Blackstorm(drums) and Zyklon(guitar). After about 8 months Zyklon decides to leave the band leaving Saerus (guitar),Lord Gabriel(voice and bass),Kusg(guitar) and Blackstorm (drums). Mainly based on the darkness of night it self, epic and belic histories, Satanism, vampirism, and more occult arts, imposing a chaotic atmosphere full of terror, revenge, blood, dead and Sodom, the band decides to start their way. In 2006 a new member decides to get in to the band playing key boards; Chris who helps the band to get back its atmospheric sound.2007 is the year when the band decides to make their presentation on the local scene (Merida) getting a god welcoming from the audience, with the band members, Lord Gabriel, Kusg , Blackstorm, Saerus and Chris. In the middle of that same year they decide to relise their promo cd named Ordo Dracul which has five devastating tracks of melodic black metal. Currently an old member decides to go back to the band, Zyklon, who takes the bass player place making the band of six members. At the end of 2007 Saerus and Chris decides to leave the band again stay with 4 members. 2008 was the year of arges´s debut album made by themselfs they only get out 50 limited copies of the album "The Forest Of Damned Souls", only solds in local gigs and a few national states. At the middle of 2008, a new member decides to join the band Wolfman taking the place of Chris on Keyboards. Currently the band sign with an American label called ZERO SUBSTANCE RECORDS from Leo Indiana; the debut album of the band will be ready before June of 2009. The band now is conformed by 5 members: Lord Gabriel (Satanic Voices & Basstorm), Kusg (Guitars), Blackstorm (Drums), Zyklon (Guitars & Choirs of Chaos) & Wolfman (Keyboards).
