"Archer Prewitt, of the band The Sea & Cake (a favorite of mine for some time now), really does a great job on "In The Sun" He incorporates several different varieties of relaxed, groove music & introspective (but cool) moments into an album that both rewards close listening with headphones & can also serve as tasty backgound music."
Delightful

"Archer's breezy 70s pop songs with tinges of jazz and folk intermingled in the mix are very relaxing, mellifluous and enjoyable. As a member of the Chicago supergroup The Sea & Cake, Archer has garnered much experience that has helped him craft his skills magnificently into his impressive solo career that has rendered four successful albums, this one being my favorite. All the songs on here are so light, airy and joyful that it will just lift your soul up and make you a happier person. Every song on here is great but my favorites are Moore County Run, Let Me Fade Away and In The Sun. This album is wonderful. I recommend it to everyone."
