"This cd is a good collection of songs, though not great. As a "best of" collection it only covers the years beginning with the Wages of Sin album from 2002 through Tyrants of the Rising Sun live (2008). There are no songs from the albums preceding those. Granted, Angela Gassow is a superior vocalist to Jonah Liiva, but I would have preferred a more comprehensive compilation, the early stuff is killer too. Clearly the purpose of this cd is to promote the "female fronted" melodic death metal band known as Arch Enemy. As far as being an introduction to this band, this disk serves its purpose well. I would recommend this to someone who is not familiar with Arch Enemy.

However, if you are a die hard fan with all the albums, then "Manifesto of..." serves no purpose as it only focuses on the Angela Gassow years and has no new or previously unreleased material."
