CD ReviewsGood chillin music 10/11/2001 (3 out of 5 stars) "I've heard many diferent styles of electronic music and aptcore is in a league of it's own. It combines sounds of breakbeat, hiphop beats, ambience, trance, and tribal all in one package. I give it three stars because it is a little slow for me and it would have been better had they left out the guitar samples other than that it's good stuff to chill to." Really good. No, honestly. captainjojojo | Seattle, WA, USA, Earth | 06/27/2001 (3 out of 5 stars) "Great changeup from a lot of worship stuff out there. Maybe it's not really worship, and that's ok. Its lyrics come straight out of scripture and it makes for a very energetic mix. u2's 40 is covered and sounds deeply layered and well thought out. Altogether a nice change of pace from anything else on the Christian music market." Well Done herrkraft | 07/24/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album is well-crafted. Other more "sophisticated" listeners of world or electronic music may have complaints about this project...but I really enjoy it. I love the blending of primal and technological sounds, overlaid with important texts of our Christian Faith. Although not as edgy, driving, or even as dark and twisted as Nine Inch Nails, I experience the same feeling of "wow, this is like nothing else out there" when I listen to it. Sometimes when I hear world or electronic music, I'm almost distracted by the music itself; it just seems that it's trying too hard to be weird or unusual. I don't get that feeling with this album. I can put it in, turn it up and loose myself in the music and message. Overall all, this has remained one of my favorite and most listened to albums in the past two years."
