"If all you know about April Wine stems from their eighties albums, then you owe it to yourself to get this set. The title says it all. You couldn't grow up in Montreal in the seventies WITHOUT hearing "Ooowatanite", "The Whole World's Goin' Crazy", "Mama Ley", "Wings Of Love" and virtually every track on this great set of early hits. Mixing hard rock and power-pop effortlessly and with superb hook-filled songs, April Wine were one of the best! This anthology does their beginnings proud!"
