One of my favorite sax quartets!

"This cd is extraordinarily well done--the choice of pieces and the ability of the performers are stellar. My favorite piece is "Hoe Down," a must listen to for anyone who thinks a bari sax is doomed to low notes and long notes--this is a song for the bari, who proves that it is as nimble as any of its smaller relatives. The Nyman piece is minimalistic, and very well done, as each movement features a different player. A must have for any saxophone collection!"
