CD Reviews

"Bittersweet" is a bittersweet song!

"The single is very good. I would recommend it to anyone who also likes the Finnish band The Rasmus or HIM. It has the band Apocalytica and features the lead singer from The Rasmus Lauri Ylonen and Ville Valo from HIM. Causing a "Bittersweet" song with their collaboration. And with a huge chunk of "attitude" from Apocalptica. A must have single!!!"
Amazing single

"For starters, the single "Bittersweet" is so beautifully composed, both lyrically and musically. Ville Valo (HIM) And Lauri Ylonen (Rasmus) Blend their vocals together perfectly.A must have single for any fan of GOOD music."
Once again something new from Appocalyptica.

"First they covered Metallica. Then they added Sepultura and Faith No More. They also added drums and a bass. Then, they added a rendition of a fast romantic classical piece. That was on the album that featured their own songs. Then, with Reflections, they released all their own material. Voice was added to a single. More drums, horns, and strings were also added.

Now they've gone and done a ballad. There isn't much that these guys won't do. They've added two voices on two versions of Bittersweet, and then an accoustic version. This is much slower Apocalyptica then most of us are used to. It's Apocalyptica light. It's good, but different.

Then they blow you away with Misconstruction a 4 minute fast piece that has their usual brand of heavy cello. If this is even remotely a hint of their up-coming album, I'm sufficiently stoked. Every album they've done something different. This time it was a ballad. What's next? A full orchestra?

Can't wait!!!! Get this single. It's only two different songs, with a regular verion of Bittersweet, then an acoustical and imustrmental version. Last, but far from least, is Misconstruction. Very well woth the wait!"
