CD Reviews
Apathy can Rhyme
Kansetsu | USA | 03/12/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)
"First and foremost Apathy can rhyme. He is an extrememly talented emcee. I have been an Apathy fan since I heard his freestyle with Sage Francis (great stuff) and his work with Jedi Mind Tricks on the Psycho Social LP.
This album has some high and low points. I would give the album 3 and a half stars if I could have. Apathy is very good on the album and some of the guest emcees are very good as well (in particular Celp Titled and Magic Most), though I didn't care for Eternia.
Apathy has tons of talent but spends alot of his time talking about B*tches and sex. For me it's when he strays from this topic that he is at his best."
More of a Mixtape..

"Apathy's presence on the mic is one you won't forget but this particular album is. More of a mixtape and Apathy compilation- there really isnt anything that sticks out. More lows than highs. I will give his new album 'Eastern Philosophy' a good listen but this album is a throw away. Makes me wonder...Is Apathy just a good cameo rapper?

"APATHY IS ONE OF THE ILLEST LYRICISTS AROUND. HIS FLOW IS TOP OF THE GAME. WHY ISNT THIS GUY BLOWING UP EVERYWHERE IN YOUR #%@%@# FACE! DEF COPP ANYTHING HE PUTS OUT YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!"
London Boggs is an idiot.

"This c.d. is a mixtape, not an album, which is perhaps why it's titled "Where's Your Album?!!" Learn about your MC's before you make stupid comments. This MIXTAPE is dope as hell, and Ap rips every track and has incredible collabo's with both his Demigodz crew and the Demigodz family (Majik Most, Emilio Lopez, etc.)"
