"I came across this cd purely by accident a few years ago and it was a pure delight. It's a refreshing trip through American roots music ranging from cajun to old-time to depression-era pop. I only wish I had been aware of them when they were playing the circuit."
Bee-yoo-tee-ful... an old-timey classic!

"If you're looking for a charming, unassuming all-acoustic album to simply fall in love with, then give this CD a spin. This San Francisco Bay Area ensemble was one of the most charming -- and accomplished -- of the late -70s string band revivalists. This CD combines two LPs originally issued in 1978 and 1980, and features their lovely version of the goofy melodic oldie, "C-U-B-A". Sweet stuff, and highly recommended."
