"I have all of Antony Santos' studio albums and they're all very good. However, this album takes the cake even if it's a live album!!Antony Santos has come back in a big way due to his merengue tracks!! The Album contains 10 tracks of pure MERENGUE MAMBO including some classic tracks. "Juana Mecho" is an awesome track with El General's chorus "Juana, Juana pelame la banana"!! "Los Algodones", an old track, is awesome too. "El Lechero" featuring Geovanny Polanco, I believe, it's an old Colombian track! I personally like "Esa Morena (Susana)", an old track, too. What's different about El Mayimbe this time is the assortment of new instruments to the band including two saxofones and a piano! Susy, a new chorus member, is part of the band now adding to the new "Mamboness" that Antony Santos has invented!!All I can say is the tracks are awesome with the saxofones and the production is ridiculously PHAT! Antony Santos never stays old! MUY CARO! MUY CARO!"
