CD ReviewsWhat a glorious record this is . . . Jan P. Dennis | Monument, CO USA | 10/04/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) ". . . sometimes like a soft summer breeze blowing through an open window, gently caressing the ears (the title cut), sometimes more like a stiff Nor'easter, bending saplings and producing ephemerial dust devils ("For Amadou"), sometimes like the faintest night whisper off the Sahara (the opening to "Distant Cousins").I'd put this right up there with some of the finest world jazz ever recorded--Vira Loucos by Cyro Baptista, Sanfona by Egberto Gismonti, La Bikina by Edward Simon. The liner notes tell us that Antonio Hart took some time off at the age of 29 after having traveled the world several times over as a renowned professional musician. Well, it seems to have paid off big time. Everything's drenched with a freshness, an exuberence, a joie de vivre that can only come from someone who's at peace with himself and the world. Highest recommendation." A must have justinw76 | Bel Air, MD USA | 08/26/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "I've listened to Antonio since I was in high school and I think this album is his best. Each song has a tremendous amount of feeling and energy. The Latin influences on many of the tracks really add a lot of color as well. "Grover Washington Jr." is an excellent tribute to a musician who died far too soon. This album definitely demonstrates Antonio Hart's creativity to its fullest."
