Because like the other CDs in my top category each musician is outstanding and the whole becomes greater than the parts (a la "Kind of Blue" with Miles, Coltrane, Cannonball, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, etc.). Schwartz has never sounded better, Peter Bernstein is incredible on guitar (& I'm not even a big fan of jazz guitar), and Taylor Eigsti is a force to be reckoned with on piano. Don't miss it!"
