CD ReviewsALMOST GREAT D. Snyder | Salem Oregon | 05/03/2010 (4 out of 5 stars) "I might give this album 5 stars if it wasn't filled with renditions of other people's work. I am one of those who like to hear artists primarily creating their own work. With that said, Anne does an exceptional job at personalizing these songs and singing them as if they were her own. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this album. I would also like to respond to some of the negative criticism of this work. It seems to me that as soon as an artist steps out and does something new they are instantly criticized by many people. THIS IS NOT A HARD ROCK ALBUM. It was clearly not intended to be a hard rocking album. Sorry for those of you that can't appreciate an artist opening up in a new way like this. To me this music feels honest and fresh. There are no signs of Anne selling out here (as I felt there were in the 80's), rather here is an artist drawing on some great music from other artists, bringing in some other singers to perform some very nice duets here and there, and using her talents in new and interesting ways. All in all I have to say this is one hell of a good cd." Ann rocks my socks off!! M. Mitchell | wesley, ia usa | 12/23/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm a big Heart fan, so I KNEW this would be worth it. She is simply AMAZING!!! I'm pretty sure that if Ann Wilson came out with a CD of her reading the phone book, I would buy it. Just buy it already! :)" What a voice! John M. Strubhart | Austin, TX | 09/03/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "Ann Wilson can still belt it out after all these years. This might as well be a Heart album. The style is pretty much the same. I've always wanted to hear the Wilson sisters do more covers and the inclusion of a Pink Floyd cover was just awesome - Ann Wilson really gets the whole feel of Goodbye Blue Sky right. If you're a Heart / Wilson Sisters fan, you will definitely enjoy this recording."
