"Above average compilation CD of some of the better Animal's possibly forgotten/lesser known tracks, plus some super-rare B-sides.Some might call this material 'deep album cuts',which would do the release justice.Total of twenty-one songs, with a duration of 77:47.Cuts 1 through 10 cover The Animals 1964-66 era, with some tasty tunes like "Dimples","Bright Lights Big City",the heart-breaker "I Ain't Got You" and Howlin' Wolf's standard "Smokestack Lightning".Tracks 11 to 20 are from the 1967-68 period with audio gems like "A Girl Named Sandoz","Ain't That So",the Stone's cover "Paint It Black","Closer To The Truth" and the major U.S. hit Burdon had with War,"Spill The Wine".Catch it's video clip on VH1 Classic sometimes.Comes with a 12-page full color booklet with photos and informative liner notes.Nice British Invasion release to have a copy of.Recommended, only if you like the really good music."
