CD Reviews

Do not expect "My Boyfriend's Back"

"This is the Australian Angels, known as Angel City in the USA, kind of an AC/DC clone, but did the whole thing better than anything after "Back In Black" could even dream of. Up there with the Bon Scott and Rose Tattoo in the pure cream of the cream of Australian Rock Music. Look forward to the tracks "Take A Long Line" and "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?" Quite why they did not become popular in the USA is beyond me."
Stay away from these budget collections
William J. Eichelberger | Ft. Thomas, KY | 10/06/2004

"This is a decent overview of the Angels first four albums, but if it's their "finest" where are "No Secrets" and "Ivory Stairs" for starters? This collection would make a pretty good start on a "Best Of" collection when paired with the No Secrets cd, but at those prices you could put a pretty good dent into a collection of the band's studio cds. Okay for a casual fan, but expect to feel like something's missing. It is, and in a big way.
